Choose a camera
When starting to learn photography, you must choose the appropriate camera, and from these compact cameras, which are usually called (Point and Shoot), they are very slim cameras, and do not have options to control the shutter speed shutdown, they are fully automatic, and have large LCD screens  In the background to take pictures, photography can be started using advanced compact cameras, which are small cameras, and the pictures taken with it are good, and the shutter speed can be controlled and opened. Mastering photography must know and understand how the camera works, and understand its settings,  Composition, the technology you work with, and how to edit photos after they are finished.

 Knowing the rules of photography
Some things to know about photography include:
 • Aperture: The aperture expresses the amount of view of the lens, and the greater the width, the greater the amount of light entering, and it is measured by fractures, and the smaller the number, the wider the opening, and the shutter speed. This means that when the shutter button is pressed and suspended, it will remain open until the camera is left  .
Focal length: measured in milliliters, it reflects the amount of view angle, or the approximation of the lens.
Depth of field: Reflects the things that are emphasized in the image. The greater the depth of field, the distant objects as well as the close objects will appear in the image.

 Find out the lighting rules
Lighting is the most important part of photography, and without it it is not possible to take pictures. There are three types of lighting in photography:
Direct lighting, which is achieved when there is a single source of light, and can be used in images intended to show a person with harsh features.
 • Direct diffuse lighting, which is achieved when the only source of light is bouncing off the wall, or spreading through something like silk, or a leaf of trees, and the shadows have some detail in this picture.
 • The diffuse lighting is completely diffused, and is achieved when the light comes evenly from different directions, and is used when wanting to show the person in the image an innocent and angelic face.

The skills that every photographer should have
The photographer must be able to take valuable photos that summarize the event and what is in it, and he must be aware accordingly to take the appropriate image by knowing whether taking a picture that focuses on one thing is better, or taking a general picture of the scene completely with the individuals involved in it, as he must know all  Technical matters related to photography.
